This is really not a drivable stadium. You're better off driving to an adjacent town on the path stops and taking the path in with everyone else.

Even better: park in one of the lots near Pru Center, make the short walk to Newark Penn and take the free shuttle that drops you off right in front of the stadium. Do that and you will completely avoid all the traffic.

Why park in a lot?

Why park in a lot?

Correct. I just park on a street and either get local fare or meet up with others who park in a lot.

Mass transit obviously an option too and can do the same things.

"Obviously, I want to make a living (in soccer), to say the least," he said. Ultimately, our goal is to win the MLS Cup, and I see no reason why we can't." - #4 Tyler Adams

Being a STH, I've found a decent lot to park in and get out relatively quick. Last game i decided to try something different, ended up parking behind the warehouse. Sat in dead stop traffic and took way too long to get out. And there couldn't have been more that 13,000 or so at the game last night. Imagine how bad it is when the stadium is packed. I'm sure there a ton of casuals who went to a derby game, random ICC friendly game or whatever and had such a bad time leaving the stadium that they don't bother to come back.

We will see what happens with the (never ending) construction around the stadium. If the PATH station turns out nice, the parking garage gets completed, and they figure out a good way to get people in/out of the stadium, I think that would definitely boost attendance. If not.....

Can't ever sell my tickets for face value, so to me it is the most obvious evidence of lower interest/attendance this year. Visually we see that anyway but yeah.

Why are YOU not going?

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

I have to miss a number of games every year and the last few seasons I've sold tickets on Stubhub when I could not attend. This is what I got after fees were taken out:

2016: $15.30, $9.90, $15.30, $16.20

2017: $11.70, $22.50, $15.30, $16.20, $13.50

2018: $18.00, $18.00, $29.70

Cost of my tickets was $26 last year and $29 this year, though it's actually less than that when you factor in free games like Open Cup, Champions League, playoffs, etc.

I miss 2-5 games a year and have to sell my tickets too. It's not realistic to expect every season ticket holder to show up every game.

Looks like the FO did something to improve the game-day experience for hearing-impaired fans.

I am starting to think that the capos from Viking army and ESC meet before each home game and flip a coin. If heads, they will cooperate and sing the same songs together simultaneously.

Tails. Today vs Houston was definitely a tails.

Edit: although in their defense, ESC sounded really good tonight

Like the old days in GS. A smaller, compact ESC making more noise than a full section.
Pretty funny when the capo wanted a song to end, and the lads just would not listen to him!
