they told you Murillo is MENTALLY NOT THERE despite his skill.

Putting Buckmaster on the field and then KEEPING him on is awful. Just absolutely terrible. Even given our situation.

Take Murillo out of the equation due to mentality. Fine. You cant start Buckmaster. You just cant. You are literally saying were okay giving up a goal because this guy is on the pitch.

A good coach works around a problem.

We didnt sign anyone this summer when the Murillo thing blew up. We brought up a guy who isnt ready for this stage and hoped a guy coming back from injury and trying to find his mojo again in USL would be enough cover.

You make that signing in the summer. If you cant, well then you find someone else on your roster who wont get run over like Buck did or you play 3 in the back.

But Chris Armas is telling us that Buck is an incredible talent! What are you talking about!?!?!

Is Armas' tactic of trying to blow smoke up everyone's asses not working with you?

Armas explains his choice of Buckmaster:

"Duncan, Buckmaster and Murillo each have different qualities, but at the end of the year, in the biggest games, when the most concentration is needed, we went with the guys that give us the best chances of winning on the day."

He says that as if we didn't give up an equalizing goal because Buckmaster fell asleep and was yards behind the rest of the line on an offside trap.

Not just that, but he was beat again and again all game. Arial game wasn't there at all. After every goal, a save, or a miss, I see Buck there unable to make a play. The guy simply got torched, and didn't belong. Now, I know Murillo didn't have the best season and could be mentally retarded for all I know, but he does not give up as much shit as Buck did that day. He is able to get up a little bit and challenge Arial balls as well. And he offers another dimension offensively, can create chances and keep the ball. Yes, there are costly mistakes too, but there is a difference between a decent MLS player (even if he is not an all start like last year) and a guy who doesn't even remotely belong in the League. That difference could very well have been advancing to next round vs blowing the biggest lead in the history of MLS play-offs.
