no cowardly/impotent performance vs DC, especially now that Rooney is on their squad.

In a vacuum, getting a point on the road against Van and NYC are acceptable results, but we have to get back to winning ways if we want to win the SS. Or at the very least avoid the knockout round of the playoffs. Get f***ing 3 points.
Yep. We're now even on games played with Atlanta and 2 points back, which we will have the opportunity to make up with our head to head match-up with them at RBA on 9/30. Need to put this in the rear view and collect all possible points at home, no excuses.

Time for some excuses then! We are still yet to face the tail end of our nightmare 5-game stretch. We will need to rotate some players v Houston and/or Montreal (I'm guessing no significant changes vs in-form Rooney-led DC). ATL have 3 games in a week before facing us on normal rest at the end of Sept.

i think the players will be gassed on Sun, but i think we'll prevail...must prevail. DC didn't play but play next Wed, so they're gonna empty the tank.

No doubt, we still have the bulk of this incredibly congested, difficult stretch left to play. It won't be easy. However, the poor performance last night makes me a lot less forgiving when it comes to dropping points at home in these next two.

Can't argue with that. I hope Abang can go 60 mins, and contribute. BWP needs a breather, as do a few guys in the starting XI.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

It is for the MLS season, but USL is possible (see Gideon Baah).

riiiiiight. totally forgot. Baah got some PT with RB2, especially in the "Bonomo scored TEN supergoals against OCB" game.

Looks like BWP took a knock
If he goes down the season is over. Rest him.
