no way in hell i support trading billingsley . . . never ever trade a good young arm. haven't we learned from pedro martinez yet?

agreed. but if it's between kershaw and billingsley, what do you do?

hartman reported last night that many insiders say the dodgers could have had Cliff Lee if they were willing to part with Billingsley. I can't decide. Can't give up the young arms, but it was painful watching Chad collect dust in the bullpen. Having an ace like Lee or Halladay (who are still in their prime i add) is enticing..

Ethier/Kemp/Loney i think are locked in for a couple years, but all of them are then going to be up for super pay raises.

I'm more interested in what happens with the McCourt divorce. Civil now. But pray it doesn't go John Moores nasty.

p.s. Martin is going to come back next year and hit 35+ homeruns. believe it!

yeah, this is going to get real ugly i think. there were reports yesterday saying jaime is seeking a group of investors to buy whatever portion that frank has so she can become sole owner of the Dodgers. frank's attorney said she can't buy what is not for sale. its going to get interesting to say the least.

Dodgers are going to go downhill after this divorce. The McCourts won't spend on talent as they'll be too busy fighting instead of helping the team. I remember the first time I them as a couple I said to myslef "this ain't a typical couple, what's she doing with him".

Angels live another day, and could even win game 6, but no way in hell are we beating CC Sabathia and the yankees in a gm 7 in new york

Wow...

Some of the Angels players need to print out a screen cap and put that up in their locker room...
Lakers (16x Champs) Dodgers (6x Champs) Galaxy (4x Champs) Broncos (2x Champs) LA Kings (2012 Stanley Cup Champs)
USMNT (One day, one day...)
Budlight (Weekend Champ)

It doesn't matter how simplistic you make your point, there will be someone who misunderstands you.

The inevitable has come. We join the Doyers in the offseason, instead of the WS like many of you had hoped (not me, I didnt want people to die).

Players I'd like to see back:
Abreu
Vlad (for less money)
Saunders
Oliver

Players who can go lock themselves in a running car and die from CO poisoning:
Figgens
Fuentes
Juan Rivera

Figgy is a good regular season player, but is supposed to be our catalyst and is the reason why all these years our offense has sucked in the playoffs. I hope the Angels replace him with Damon and get a power hitting 3rd baseman

In Baseball can you really blame ONE person on offensive woes?

Considering he and Vlad have been the only constants in this offense since 04, yes. Vlad has done well the past 2 post seasons, however, Figgy going 2-21 (?) in this ALCS is ridiculous. I will take my hatoff as the better team beat us, but I'll spit in their fans faces as well hahaha

Also I forgot about Lackey but I hope he's back. Realistically, I know he's going to bail for Texas has he has been hinting for the last 4 years
