Considering we already made a pick in the waiver draft I think we’ll pass here but some names that stand out to me are Luis Silva,Jared Watts, plenty of GK’s capable of being a backend starter/quality backup (don’t think we need one), and it pains to say his name but even nick Deleon. Sure there’s some other names but I wouldn’t want to burn an international roster spot. Watts played well as spot starter in Colorado especially on that 2016 squad. Luis Silva although inconsistent at points really could be a quality backup at multiple attacking positions and has had seasons of brilliance before like his 2014 dc utd season, Deleon covers a lot of depth especially at the wingback and wing positions. Can even make a case for Kofi opare who’s played a lot of mls games and has had his ups and downs like many cbs but could be a good 4th/5th mls cb with experience and still has plenty of his legs left. Pains me to mention so many dc utd players but maybe it’s because we see them 3 times a year lol. Other guys I see include Aaron maund(mls experience could be a 4th cb plenty of legs left), and also Luke mulholland. Only name I would like to completely avoid is Donny toia for obvious reasons

Getting Deleon would be nice just so we avoid facing him. He always seems to have a good game against us.

First round requires taking the player at their current salary, right?

DeLeon goal vs Crew was clutch. Woly was clutch like that. We definitely could use him off the bench.

An attacking midfielder who doesn't score or assist. No thank you.

Jonathan Campbell would be a worthwhile pick for actual squad-building reasons.

David Villa would be a worthwhile pick because it would be pretty funny.

Enzo Martinez.  That dude is a warrior out there. I'd be a fan of getting him.

McNamara to Houston, Lampson to LA Galaxy.

Can't wait for MLS to finally get rid of these stupid, pointless drafts.

What happens after this? These guys become free agents? Or do their teams still retain some type of rights to them? I know they aren't full on free agents as there are the criteria you have to meet, but do they really just get saddled with their current team holding their rights in MLS indefinitely?
