Loss probably incoming.  Probably played better overall, but when your defense lets in 4, it's going to be hard to get any points...

Baah coming in in '86

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

Lost 4-2. Cincinnati with some highlight reel goals (although Diaz' positioning wasnt great). Valot's second goal was nice as well.

Overall, a very exciting game (minus the announcers who are major homers). Lots of chances. Also set a new USL single game attendance record with over 30k there.

Baah came in late and saw yellow. Pretty sure most of Cincinnati ended with a yellow card as well.

Would they consider running the 5-1-3-1 with the reserves?

I like this formation. I think Louro is going to be the starter going forward. Diaz is a good keeper but not always in the right position. Certainly an improvement over Santi "Campos" Castano, but still caught quite a bit.

I think both Powder and Najem can play the wingback roles very well. Powder is pretty much built for it and Najem has played as wing in the past.

I think in that formation, Metzger is the starter over Tinari.
Metzger plays the old style MLS defensive-mid (quiet and good distribution and good with the ball at his feet). Tinari has off and on games. Still young and plenty of room to develop.

Academy defenders Ben Bograd and David Philbin have been added for selection for the USL team. Philbin was with MatchFit Academy a long time prior to this year.
