Some folks called me out with legitimate rebuttals:
1- DC United had no problems winning titles with black Kits for years.
2- The Adidas jerseys now are a lot more breathable than the old Nike jerseys
3- We wore the really dark blue jerseys (albeit rarely) in 2011.

Prefer red home or white red white
Black or grey away or even that really dark blue kit
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Fuck that. Can't we keep some continuity here with the red and white colors please. There's enough teams in MLS who have black as the primary color, let them have it.
speak for yourself.
Red and black is ours. The sooner this garbage ass blue dies from our color scheme, the better.

Sounds like there may be some alternating red/black stripes along one of the shoulders....

Where did you hear that?
I gotta give the club some credit with regards to the uniforms. For a while, New York, Leipzig, Salzburg all had had basically identical uniforms. Now, they are all pretty unique and easy to tell apart. They gave us a red uniform which everyone wanted. The USL jerseys are a nice nod to Metro. Let's see what these black uniforms look like.
It's a weird scenario because of the rotation of new MLS kits. Only one new kit each year. The red was technically the away kit, but we wear it at home. I have a feeling that we will have one season with Grey Home and Black Away, and then our 2021 kit will be a new, red home kit. And from that point on, our home kit will always be be red.

Technically, there is no such thing as home or away kits. Just primary and secondary.

I'd like us to just have red and a black to be honest. Happy about this but I'd just rather the black replace the glitch kits.

Did the English use to call one the kit and the other the change strip?
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Keep all the red bull brand logo stuff, but make the 2 primary colors black and red with whatever third fourth fifth design color(s) you choose
Why is this so difficult? Who has a problem with this and why?

yeah, reminds me of an alternate River Plate jersey from yester year, with the sash going top right to bottom left.
but yeah, those Peru kits?
