Both Royer and RZA cooled down. Was thinking you start Abang up top and Etienne in place of one of the wings.

Unless we have a lead, then leave Muyl on as long as he has gas....Sub Muyl off for Etienne in the 60th.

Eh. Muyl has been spent at the 60th almost every game hes started and Etienne has got some confidence and has proven hell do the defensive work this year. Part of keeping a lead is getting tired legs off the field.

We need to find our high press again. Where did it go? Did Jesse take it with him?
The loss of BWP is not as great as the loss of our high press.

I agree, in the context of this game. We matched up very well against Atlanta with Marsch's iteration of this team.

Team has to take advantage of LGP and Parkhurst. I think they are the weakest links of ATL's front-loaded top-heavy team.
RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.
RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

This... The press is almost non-existent lately. The team rarely comes out flying anymore.
Don't expect us to win this game. Think Atlanta is far ahead of where we're at. Those 2 guys create offense constantly and we can't measure up with that.

Robles
Murillo-Long-Parker-Taxi
Adams-Rza-Davis
Royer-Kaku-Etienne
Kaku as a false 9 is a really interesting idea, it'd at least be interesting to see a new look out there.

---------------Etienne
-------Royer---Kaku-----Davis
------------------Adams
Lawrence--Long--Parker---Escobar---Murillo
-------------------Robles
The more i think about it, if we go into the ATL game with our usual starting 11, minus BWP, plus whoever his backup is, we are going to be in a world of hurt. The single striker lineup only works well for us because BWP is one of the best MLS scorers of all time. Leaving anyone else on our roster on an island by themselves will see us have few scoring chances, and no one able to create a shot out of nothing like BWP does.
Instead we should revert to our high press, 3-3-3-1 and frustrate their attack. Tyler needs to mark Josef out of the game, and hoping Murillo can contain Almiron on his side.
