Henry is on his way back from Brazil but I doubt Cahill gets back in time.

Thierry tweeted he's on his way back so expect him.

Australia plays Monday and we play Friday. Even though Cahill is out for the last group game I doubt he plays for us this Friday. He does need some rest.

Don't know about Dad's status. Hope he is good to go.

Wednesday-Friday is not enough rest?

Cahill has been resting since the holland match. I doubt that he's trained much since then. Plus, he's not a normal player, he is machine-like

I think Cahill plays this Friday. Travel from Brazil to NYC is not that hard (overnight 9 hour flight - sleep the whole way). Cahill will have had a week and a half rest since the netherlands game.

Agreed.  I think we get both Cahill and Henry.

-------Henry---BWP

Steele Alexander Cahill Sam

Oyongo Sekagya Olave Duvall

Duvall got a red in that garbage game against the Cosmos, can he play this game?

And I'd really rather Alexander not play in the middle but I'm just predicting what Petke will probably do.  Also really liked Oyongo.  Time for Petke to stop screwing around with Armando.  Sekagya is a slightly better player.  May as well make the move to him.

Steele has been bad all year but I really don't want to see Convey out there.  At least Steele is tougher and has more effort.

Dude has been in a training camp pre world cup and has had to travel a lot. Add in the travel back to the US and it may be asking a lot from him.

If our staff decides hev can dress for the game I think we'll see an off the bench appearance.

No Bradley for TFC but they'll still have Defoe.

Hopefully Metro has been practicing soccer more than they've been watching it.

BTW this is a huge huge game since Toronto has all those games in hand on the rest of the conference.

Looks like a solid crowd

The Timbers game had red for that 'tickets left' thing too and the crowd was underwhelming.

I do think though that this game will be packed because it will pull in the young, after work crowd. There should be a decent amount of walk-up ticket sales as well linked to the surge of interest in soccer from the World Cup.

I read this morning that the World Cup last week generated more activity on Facebook than the Super Bowl, the Oscars, and all of the Olympics combined. That is in addition to higher ratings than any other sporting event in the US not NFL-related. So a ridiculous amount of people are being exposed to soccer right now.
