i hear ya.
i'm referring to his ego though.

Yes, he has the endorsements. Even an "image" here in the USA. But an "ego", no.

Frinstance, when at Arsenal, Barcelona "bought" Thierry Henry. A "david beckham" was "sold" by Alex Ferguson.

Henry is part of a team. For NYRB, that is vital. Otherwise, it's a circus.

as much as I want to believe this, Im still skeptical considering goal.com reported ronaldinho could come to the Galaxy a year ago.

Has anyone had a look at our midfield lately? If we are relying on the shit we currently have to get Henry the ball we'll still be fucked.

totally agree 100% with you. While I know most will disagree, if TH comes in, JPA needs to go out and make room for a real central midfielder.

For attendance purposes he could definitely help us sell out some games. New York would love him.

Remember, the salary cap is expected to increase from about $2.5 million to $4 million.

With that said, management should be able to go out and a pay a couple hundred thousand or close to the league max for a midfielder or two.

This will be the most important offseason in the team's history. And it should be a very active one as well.

"Obviously, I want to make a living (in soccer), to say the least," he said. "There's so much you can accomplish in the soccer world, and right now I'm focused on having a good season with the Red Bulls. Ultimately, our goal is to win the MLS Cup, and I see no reason why we can't." - #4 Tyler Adams

Even assuming the unsourced and unquoted article is true, which it almost never is its not gonna happen unless one of two things happens:

1. Barcalona and Henry agree to end his contract that runs through 2011. (Meaning Barca agrres to let him go for free)

or

2. MLS allows RBNY to pay a huge multi million dollar transfer fee, which is just as unlikely.

Henry may indeed play here someday but i doubt highly its next year.

Soccer blogoshpere is riddled with speculative hunches and blatent lies to get web hits. Anything that is unsourced or has no quotes is generally unreilable when it comes to transfers.

That said there is often a grain of truth in them, such as RBNY is probbaly inquiring about TH14.

That's definitely good to hear.

I just remember back when he was transfered to Barcelona, I read somewhere that he left his wife and child for some woman he had been having an affair with for a while. I don't don't respect mofuckers like that.

Awesome...maybe Sinisa could feed him the ball :)+

Awesome..

Youri will be in the mix on the MGMT side, and our team will look like this. 2010 Lineup

Angel-Henry

Robert Pires-Celades-Patrick Viera-Richards

Borman-Krupnik-Garcia-Johnson

Cepero

Just a Thought! A bit old but quality and then you take the 4 draft picks and sprinke them in during the season!
