i work weekends now so ive been out of the loop ......
um what about bring some US nat players that are getting older back to the states or poaching some other MLS team for players..... why not send a team a lot of draft picks for proven talent????
like Jay demerit or steve cherundolo
my blogic behind that is draft picks take waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to long to develop ..... yea they may get a really talented guy but ie
we send a couple of picks to team like the crew or the dynamo or chivas and metro get robbie rogers or stuart holden or sacha Kljesten?
or is that an insane idea that i have; caused by this team driving me crazy and me losing touch with reality because they were so painful to watch?
or how bout going after u17 guys like Luis Gil or poaching the mexican league for marco vidal isnt he an american
i would like more american players on Metro cuz theyre not as much money to get and i feel theyll play harder....
5 year plan
Bradley may have given him some games for the Nats - but he really sucks. No better than Goldy, Petke, etc. in my opinion.i say look into Danny Califf. Proven MLS producer, dont know his contract status though. he looks like he fell out of favor with his scandinavian club and up until a year ago was actually getting games for the nats
David Dunn, hes a talented attacking midfielder turns 30 in december. He's looking not too bad on Blackburn. I would like him as a DP. Might be available next season. Only 1 England cap. Rovers paid an estimated 2.2 mill pounds for him in 07. Think poor mans Stevie Gerrard, but can also play wide if forced.
Tough to find a youtube video that's not the one where he did the spectacular fail. Here is one of all his Rovers goals
Unfortunately people are under the impression that he is not talented enough to deserve a spot in a last place MLS team.
5 year plan
why would we offer him DP money? (other than the fact we often overpay for suck)but is he worth a DP investment?

Now it's the RedBulls fans. they may be even louder than the DC guys who, for reasons beyond imagining, had 50 seats saved for them up front.
Philadelphia: I love you guys, really, but you're getting schooled.
The noise in here is deafening.
