Not Red Stars specific, but involves the league and allocation of players:

Any insight/info on who Chicago may be looking to sign?

Yes. But let's pre-drink for cheaper at Villians or Manhattans first. Edit: what the fuck is 'pre-drinking'??

I wish I could go, but i have to be at the game in San Diego. I'll be at the Sunday viewing party at GameWorks. Is there a designated pre-drinking spot for that? What's the name of the faux Irish Pub that hosted the Section 8 holiday party a couple years ago? I think that's close.

Anyways, more info on the WPS player timeline on my blog here:

http://chicagoprowom...rs-players.html

Also, Emma, Marcia and I will be at the Minnesota vs. Gaels game Thursday night (tonight) at Loyola. 7:30 pm kickoff at Devon and Hoyne. Minnesota has a player worth watching - Caroline Smith. Gaels have some good players, too. BYOB (or BYOF).

We're playing at 6:15. Perhaps we can convince some people to go.

Good luck with that.

I may hit The Globe after the Gaels game for the LA "super" classico (10 pm kickoff).
