Jorg and Ivan. Hopefully they improve, and quickly.

Good roster building overall though, just need a game changer DP on offense and better WB (and maybe CB) depth as we've been saying for the better part of a year now.

As of now, certainly Ivan. However, Im not quite sure why he hasnt gotten more of a look this season. Hes looked like a much different player to me this year.

MLSPU has the data going back to 2007.

2007: 30,000
2008: 33,000
2009: 34,650
2010: 48,000
2011: 175,000
2012: 300,000
2013: 600,000
2014: 650,000
2015: 675,000
2016: 700,000
2017: 800,000
2018: 800,000
2019: 800,000

Someone else can do that for other players, because that was a lot of work on a phone.  Pretty crazy rise though.

Its also interesting tidbit that the all time leading scorer in league history never cracked $1 million in annual salary.

Im absolutely certain he would be a defensive upgrade over Murillo.

Murillo is literally good to give up 2-3 big chances per game. Its infuriating.

The constant, irrational bashing of Murillo is also infuriating.

They could have just changed the wording last year for season ticket holders and just not offered us free tickets anymore. Hell I would rather pay $20 to go to RBA for an open cup game than pay $10 to go to MSU.

Agreed, but just further proves the point that it wasn't really about the ticket sales. They don't want to the operating costs associated with opening up RBA for a crowd of 2-3k.

So what is our backline going to be on Tuesday? Same as against Philly?

Id be surprised if we see Tarek, given the injury on Saturday. Doesnt seem to be serious, but thats probably too quick of a turnaround to expect him back.

The transfer fee is pretty meaningless.  This club dropped 2 million on some rando from Denmark who can't break out of RB2.  Big splash implies a game-changing type of player.  This club has had Thierry Henry, Donadoni, Youri Djorkaeff, JPA and Tim Cahill.  I'm not sure rando guy from Romania fits the bill here.

The transfer fee and how he ends up panning out are independent conversations. Close to a $6 million transfer fee is classified as a big splash in my eyes and, if it ends up being finalized, I'll be quite pleased.

My guess for any "will this be ready on time" questions is always no.

It was Waterreus who had the hypothermia. I remember thinking to myself at the time the irony in him falling victim to cold water, being that his name in Dutch translates to "Water Giant".

Y'all deserve the playoff losses for excusing this shit.

I agree with most of what you said, except for this. Everyone on this site loves this club (hence why we're all here) and deserves to see this club win. I don't care if they're #RedBullOut or pro-Red Bull.

Is the only source claiming these vague rumors "The Cooligans", whoever the hell they are? Sounds like how the Henry rumors started

1st v 4th

I still would be more worried about nycfc / atl in the playoffs but they must be in 1st for some reason.

I certainly agree with you on Atlanta. Can't say I feel the same about Boy City.
