Any subdivisions for LIRR, Metro North, NYC subways?

I can't remember the last time I took the LIRR, but I find the subway to be far worse than the Metro North train.

I'd say Metro North is the best operating of the three major railroads at the moment (has its own tracks, doesn't have to deal with Penn Station, no under river tunnel). Long Island Rail Road second and NJ Transit a very distance third.

Hard to compare the subway to regional rail but obviously the subway has some pretty major issues right now.

Final ranking: Subway v. NJ Transit?

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

NJ Transit is the worst, in my opinion.

My initial mention of the MTA was with solely the subway in mind, as the article was from the perspective of NJ commuters.

The 2+ year buildup to the L shutdown, only to say "Nope, just kidding" when the time came was peak MTA.

More like peak Cuomo. People at the MTA found out the night before.
