But at the very least shooting from distance can create a corner, a rebound to be capitalized, the opponent to respect come out of their shape.. Or even a keeper error and a goal

The occasional long distance effort, even if it isn't a good chance, keeps the defense honest and more likely to step out of position from the back line.
Right now everyone just covers our runners in the box and isn't worried about anyone shooting/dribbling their way in.

The other problem is shooting from distance takes a lot of natural knack as well and other than maybe Kemar or Royer who else can even shoot well from distance...

Davis and Rza should be shooting from distance.

It sounds like Kemars injury recovery is anything but an even uphill climb. I hope he gets through tomorrow night with no further injury and returns to NY ready to go.
I like Connor Lade, but he is no Kemar Lawrence.

Kemar not starting for Jamaica tonight.
If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Kaku starting for Paraguay and looking pretty active even though his team is down 0-2. He started wide left and is now playing wide right. Lots of good through balls and smart dribbles against a Mexico team that clearly came ready to play tonight.
Hope he is like that when he comes back, instead of last night just being an audition for a Liga MX move.

good points mentioned on who they think will feature up top and on the wings depends on what they want to do and want they think the opponent will bring

You have Brad, you have Mathias, you have Brian White, and now you have days where structurally you look different and tactically you look different,” said Armas. “Are you trying to play behind? Okay then, maybe those days Andy Ivan, Derrick Etienne, and Marcus Epps feature. If it is a day that you are looking at creating a little more underneath, those are the days Danny Royer, Omir Fernandez, and Alex Muyl can factor in. So, different personnel can give us different looks for how we want the game to look. That will help us stretch teams, and maybe try to disorganize teams.”

It's nice to understand his thinking, but I would prefer that we would not be so transparent. Now teams know exactly how to play against us depending on who we put on the field. Of course, eventually they would all figure it out, but I'd rather make them go through that process.
