Didn't see this posted on the board, by Dyer reported earlier:

something to keep an eye on but hearing that Troy Lesense is in the mix to join the coaching staff, presumably to replace Bradley Carnell. Lesense is the former head coach at New Mexico United (USL) and is considered a rising young star in the coaching ranks.

Youth movement ftw

Their roster looks older than RBNY's roster.

But there is a RBNY connection, he coached Andrew Tinari and Amando Moreno at NMU.

Yeah, have to figure this is notable for sure considering Struber could easily leave soon.  Would have a chance at replacing him.

Coaching matters, so I'm always happy with the attention to the coaching staff.  Just need a couple players...

What?

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Lesesne did a great job managing New Mexico. I am happy to have him here. Hopefully that means Sekagya gets the promotion to Head Coach of NYRBII.

That RB2 job is going to have a pretty short shelf life, no?

Assuming they keep whomever they hire onboard when they move to Next Pro in 2023.

What?

I think he means that Struber is not a 10 or even 5 year coach here - end of this season or end of next he is likely moving on.

"Troy is a coach with smart ideas and big ambitions to go deep in our identity", said Head Coach Gerhard Struber. "He has experience in different areas and will be able to help the team to develop in many directions."
