i think so.  he wasn't a bruiser striker. kinda like BWP, but a slightly less powerful shot.  left footed.  deadly with a provider that could serve quality through balls.

Lassiter was nice.  He was like the Twellman mold of forward in that he rocked MLS, but sucked for the US nats. I always used to put him in the US team in FIFA 98 Road to the World Cup for n64  :)

difference with twellman and lassiter is that twellman was a finisher who excelled at cleaning up in the box.  lassiter had track speed and embarrass defenses when the through ball sliced defenses apart.

 

he was avg for USMNT cuz there weren't proficient enough providers of quality passes during his time. he was not known for heading the ball in off a cross from the flanks like McBride.

Would a 96 Lassiter score 27 goals in 2014 defenses? :)


More importantly would he be able to steal more of today's lighter and less bulky TVs?

i dunno if he could get away with the crime if the getaway car he was driving was a hybird or an electric one.
