FC Motown lost 1-3.

Ocean City won! They beat Charlotte 3-1, a team that thumped FC Cincinatti 4-1 this past weekend!

But, next match is again on the road, in Cary, NC, against NC FC, who beat Landsdowne Bhoys.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

And Louisville crushed Long Island 5-0

So Ocean City is the closest non-MLS team remaining?

seems so, is there a re-draw or are the brackets already set?

Set, AFAIK. The third-round brackets were on the official & wiki sites prior to last nights matches.

Second round of 48 teams yields 24 for the third, leaving 12 survivors to face MLS clubs in the fourth, along with the four internecine match-ups

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

90 miles from RBA to Jess Dow Field.
125 to Ocean City.
Elm City was one of several underdogs who advanced:

We might get stuck with another extra MLS game, like last year vs the blue fuckers...

How was the draw conducted, last year? There were 3 all-MLS matches: RB-NYC, KC-Minn & Portland-Seattle.
A map of MLS franchises shows 4 regions with 5 MLS clubs each. So, there should be one match-up pairing MLS teams, with 3 facing lower-level opposition.
http://www.stadium-m...gue-soccer.html
It was odd last year, to play NE, NYC, Philly, NYC, Philly, NE, NE between May 27-July 13.

If Elm City wins their next match and Ocean City, NJ wins their match. Then maybe city will go up to CT to play Elm City and will be sent to Ocean City, NJ. Maybe philly can play a team that advances in PA if there is on remaining. If there is a team left in the Northern NE region they will probably play the Revs.

Will any die-hard USOC fan be in Cary next Tuesday, then North Charleston on Wednesday?

I will be down in Raleigh for work on Tuesday. Trying to push my flight out to the next morning.

Elm City will be at Charleston Battery in the next round.

The rest of the 3rd round games are tomorrow, and the draw for our round will be Thursday.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

The battery play in the Daniel Island section of Charleston, not North Charleston.

Anything can happen but its a very lopsided matchup. Charleston should roll

E1?

On another note, I swore round 4 last year saw USL/NASL VS. non-MLS matchups, but my understanding is every team advancing from round 3 will play an MLS side this year. What has changed that dictates this? Or do I just remember incorrectly?
