Rebrand as Red Bull Metropolitan FC or Red Bull Metro. Team can be called the Metros or just Metro. A better linkage to the teams history. Red Bull need not worry that people wont know that they are New York - New Jerseys team.

Totally agree that Metro / Metropolitan is the way to go. It takes care of the NY/NJ debate and ties up nicely with the history of the club. Its a great idea - therefore, ownership would never do it.

I would settle for RBNY Metro.

Its a great logo and should be the new crest. At least it would be unique to us and not an exact replica of Leipzig, Salzburg, Brigantino, ect. But that's also the exact reason why RB won't do it.

Leipzig & Salzburg already have different crests. Theyre similar, but they arent whats on the can.

Makes me nostalgic for the spring of 2006 and the twin firestorms of righteous indignation from both points of view that erupted here and at the other then Metro-centric site. A lot has changed since then and a lot has surprisingly remained the same.

Word seems to be that a bomb threat was called in, which is why the gates opened late. Cars being searched with dogs coming in. Not that I expect a full stadium or anything but I do think there are a lot of people delayed getting in tonight.

Certainly looked that way. 4,000+ @ MSU.
But the bomb scare story appears accurate.
RBA lower level filled in during the 1st half.

I got to my seat at 6:55. No lines, no indication of anything untoward.
