Dear El Mon,

How high it too high for a nice pompadour?

Sub question: Is street cred automatically given to the owner of tres flores? And are you a connoisseur of said hair product?

Sincerely,

Harry full of hair/Cholo sin barrio

I think a nice pomp lies in the 3-4 inch range. However I seen cats with higher and lower ones but 3-4 inches is plenty high and as always it looks cool.

Tres Flores has been a hood staple forever. So I would say the use of the product already gives you some street cred. However, as S. Bones pointed out there are some other items in conjunction with the use of Tres Flores that solidify the street cred like Sir Guy shirt, Nike Cortez, Pendletons, and Dickies.

I for one am not a connoisseur of Tres Flores because it doesnt have the hold I need. For a nice pomade that is not too heavy and holds nice I recommend. Sweet Georgia Brown (blue can).

Top this off with a little Black & White and you get the shine and the hold.

If you want the pomade feel but you want it to wash out I suggest Lay Rite Super Hold.

wasn't he bludgeoned with a bat in a motel room?

The following is from Wikipedia:

'The following day, Crane was discovered bludgeoned to death with a weapon that was never found (but was believed to be a camera tripod) at the Winfield Place Apartments in Scottsdale, Arizona.'

Concerned Rocker,

It is better to go out with a bang but if these are your only two options then I would choose to fade away. Burning out usually out shines the greatness you had before and just leaves a smudge on your legacy.

Flow Jo,

If you are referring to the failed attempt at a Shirley Temple at Trader Vic's then it tasted quite shitty.
