Cuntador  and his tainted beef - how many days until he's booed out of the peleton?

Only one IT?

Utter happiness that the TT is back!!! HELL YES!

Who is this new announcer and where the hell is Craig Hummer??? (Forgive me if he turns up during the broadcast - we just turned it on - thank you TIVO.)

So - Andy Schleck? Christain Vande Velde? Bradley Wiggins? Cadel Evens? Or..... ????
Zidane, veuillez venir le jeu pour la Galaxy!

Ná glac pioc comhairle gan comhairle ban.

I'll trying being nicer, if you try being smarter.

I caught the last 20 minutes or so and it was obvious he was being hawked and got set up with that crash.

I've enjoyed the race so far. Inspired performance yesterday by Thor Husholvd (sp?) to retain the yellow jersey.

Yesterday, someone had written on the road "Just say no Alberto". Made me smile. One thing I just don't get though - why does the media continue to focus their questions on the clenbuterol and not the plasticizers found in Contador's urine sample? He can claim tainted meat for the clenbuterol they found, but there are no excuses for plasticizers. Those are a harmless side effect of receiving IVs or blood transfusions. There's no other reasonable way to get them in your system. I'd love to hear his excuse. :)+

This has been the tour of crashes so far. So many big names out do to injuries sustained in crashes - Tom Boonen, Bradley Wiggins, Chris Horner, Alexi Vinokourov, Dave Zabriskie.

Plus you have French TV cars hitting riders.

Yesterday was a killer stage with all of those climbs. Good way to whet your appetite for the mountain stages. Great ride by Thomas Voeckler and Luis-Leon Sanchez.

Thor Hushovd finally loses the yellow jersey. Does Voekler have the legs to defend it in the mountains?

Entering the mountains today with one Category 1 climb followed by 2 Hors Categorie climbs. Can't wait to get home and watch.

Who won?

Cadel Evans (Australian) - rides for BMC.

Totally deserved it. His time trial was phenomenal, and the job he did in the Alps pulling back Andy Shleck was incredible.

If it wasn't for all of the crashes, I'd say it was one of the best races in the last few years, but there were bad crashes every stage. Painful to watch.

As of today, Contador has been found guilty of doping and has lost his 2010 Tour De France title. 2010's winner goes to Andy Shleck.

Contador has been banned from racing for two years, but it's retroactive... so he'll be eligible to race in August 2012.

He'll lose any other titles (Giro D/Italia) he may have won as well.

He'll likely lose all his sponsors as well (hear that, Hugo Boss?).

Bottom line, to quote Alexi Lalas, "It couldn't have happened to a nicer jerk."
