This fuckin league sometimes.

Well looks like we'll have to go in there and get the win.
Definitely a shitty fixture, maybe they can change it, but Atlanta doesn't have me too worried.
They still haven't beaten a good team all season.
Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

crown our asses. biggest obstacles we took care of in Cbus. this series with ATL and SKC/POR is just a formality.
RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig and Celenio Eleazar.

RBNY were missing Robles for their 3-1 win over Atlanta in May, and were without both Adams and BWP for the 2-0 win at the end of September so the dominance over Atlanta hasn't even come with full strength squads

There is no desire amongst any of the remaining teams for their players to head off to these international dates and potentially pick up injuries. They should be ignored (what's the point of these friendlies anyway? To figure out who to send with the B-squad to the Gold Cup next summer, or the World Cup 4 years from now?). Garber is a bad commissioner for not recognizing this.

We should be able to beat atl. They have not been able to figure out the press and I just dont see Portland's defense being able to perform well.

Playing in that dome will not be easy. We won down there earlier in the season, but Atlanta had their fair share of chances. The defense will need to come up big yet again. They have all year, but I argue this will be their toughest test.
"Obviously, I want to make a living (in soccer), to say the least," he said. "There's so much you can accomplish in the soccer world, and right now I'm focused on having a good season with the Red Bulls. Ultimately, our goal is to win the MLS Cup, and I see no reason why we can't." - #4 Tyler Adams

The classic away dilemma in a 2-legged series.
Playing in that dome will not be easy.
The defense will need to come up big yet again.
Do you play aggressively and risk getting blown out?
Or play conservatively, to limit any possible damage?
Conceding a goal in Cbus put us all in a funk.
Fortunately, our team showed its mettle at home.
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Definitely going to the first leg in Atlanta. I'll be checking back here on where to get tickets, if through one of our supporters groups? Thanks.

We need to score away goals this time. Obviously I would love for them to win the game outright in leg 1 but I would be just as happy to leave there with a 2-2 or 3-3 draw.
Even a 2-1 away loss is a pretty good result with away goals.
