Awful scheduling by MLS, I'd like to eventually check out DC's new stadium but another awful mid week game

We arent making the playoffs, if we do we are out first match. 3 home games left to watch this continued abortion of a season.

DC isn't playing great, and we've had a habit of bouncing back from bad games to play well on the road. They got dorked at home 5-1 by Philly, then beat LA but have to fly to Vancouver & back before playing midweek. I can see us beating DC here, but, it feels kind of like false hope even if it does happen. Nice as Brian White has been, this season needed BWP in the lineup to bang in 20 goals to make up for losing Tyler Adams, and we don't have that. What we do have is a road-heavy final stretch and a team that can't get 3 points at home, so we're basically just marching toward another unfortunate but inevitable conclusion.

Painful thought: we have a defense playing like a shadow of itself, and offense that can't put its chances away, and a roster that is two steps off the pace of the top teams.  If Kaku & Long leave in the off-season...we may take *yet another* step back next year.  So, bad as this feels, it could yet get worse.

Doesn't feel so hot in metroland these days.

But, hey, dc sucks.

BWP and Murillo make a huge difference.

The New York Red Bulls previously kicked around Major League Soccer as the MetroStars with limited success. But after transforming under a new banner in 2005, the Red Bulls have become a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference. The club has made leaps of progress since its previous incarnation and now has its focus on bringing the league title to New York. Maybe no Kemar and White, imagine that means Murillo and Barlow come in. Sims? Who knows? Probably another galaxy brain lineup with 3 games in a week. Maybe well see the 4-2-2-2 again

Robles
Murillo-Parker-Long-Bucky
CCJ-Davis (RZA?)
Sims-Kaku
Royer-Barlow (BWP?)

C'mon now, we all know Sims isn't gonna be playing any time soon.

Even this team cant completely break my spirit, I still manage to have optimism now and again.

Have to laugh at our 8 match, or less, DP. Just shambolic from this organization. Visa issues just another one of our Achilles heels.

Offensively 100%. The problem is we lack a quality d mid to cover those runs morillo makes on the attacking end.

Morillo is the better RB if we had a balanced team. Which we dont
