It begins.

FYPL.A. has USC. We don't need a professional NFL team when we can just pay our kids 300k. i'll wait til after the draft, trades, free agents, arrests, franchise tag, holdouts and where randy moss ends up at before i make any predictions.
I want to see the Seahawks win a superbowl. As for our beloved Raiders, we will finish dead last again.

The best determinant of behavior is past behavior.Go Broncos...
Can the Patriots go undef again?...
Can L.A. finally get a team?...
Go Broncos...
So everybody say "Hello" to gala_usa and try to remember who he is.
By late November of this year, the Broncos will be at the bottom of their division, with no hope of making the playoffs, and we will not hear from him again until after the Super Bowl when he starts the NFL '09-10 thread.
Go Steelers!

When does free agency start, anyway - beginning of March?i'll wait til after the draft, trades, free agents, arrests, franchise tag, holdouts and where randy moss ends up...
No Galaxy and no NFL make February and March the suckiest part of the year.

no thanks, the last thing i need is to be paying more taxes so some NFL fatcats can have a beautiful stadium in los angeles. now if they are willing to 100% finance it on their own, i am not in opposition . . . but what are the odds of that happening? Can L.A. finally get a team?...

They could easily afford it, but I believe they're terrified of the precedent it would set: Imagine cities and their taxpayers all over the country saying to the NFL, "Why can't you pay for your own damn stadium? You've done it before."

i totally agree. and for that reaason i say . . . fuck the nfl and i don't want them in los angeles. an additional thought, bringing them into LA would make us subject to tv blackout rules, which i don't believe we currently are. They could easily afford it, but I believe they're terrified of the precedent it would set: Imagine cities and their taxpayers all over the country saying to the NFL, "Why can't you pay for your own damn stadium? You've done it before."
i honeslty don't see an upside of bringing in some team from another city . . . it isn't as if most people would change who they follow. i just wish the nfl would leave our city alone, we pay high enough taxes as is.
