I haven't been on this forum in over a week... glad to see the stupidity still flows.

Castillo got a 92nd minute goal to beat DC today. Slowly closing that gap!

no we aren't. We're just a mediocre cheap middle of the road sucky team.

Very proud of the team and the results they achieve in spite of their ownership.

Doesn't impact the fact that I wish our team invested in their success. The trajectory of the league is heading in one direction, we are heading in another.

Doesn't have to impact that, I'd love that too.  It should impact that this team isn't "mediocre" or bad despite being the lowest spending team (so far) in the league,.    Which is the prevailing (and wrong) feeling.

RBNY is currently in 8th place in the league.  That's pretty much the definition of mediocre.

and are on pace with 4 of the teams above them.  I'm not doing the whole PPG thing again.  Its a stat that changes the more points you have to accumulate.  Use it for what you want, I'm done with comparing stats that aren't equal between teams.  The parity in this league is ridiculous and there's an incredibly thin margin between 2-8 in this league..  If you want to assume what might happen based on a constantly changing number, well OK.

Or I just think it's an utterly stupid thing to use to make an argument, could be that too.

Frankly, everyone is mediocre, or worse.  MLS is awful this  season. No team has won more than half of their matches, only 2 teams have won half.  So, no dominant or standout team.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Perhaps you are grasping your mouse too firmly.
