I recently learned of a new PBS documentary being filmed about the greatest American General during the war.

that is awesome, I'd be interested on how this goes as I've never been up that way. I recently read a book on Benedict Arnold's Navy...good read and again, awesome insight into the man and his accomplishments.

HAHA! yes, upstate NY was a pivotal battleground in the civil war. lee's objective was to take saratoga, swing east, and wage a scorched earth campaign all the way to the abolitionist stronghold of boston.
