Is it too late to hope that their entire team gets cancer of the AIDS?

From Goff : "Bakary Soumare is back from Mali, but must serve a one-game suspension, the club confirmed."

Why? He missed the last game. Some stupid exception for national team duty?

Another terrible MLS rule. I guess if you are going to be missing away for national team duty it doesnt count till you return. No Conde or Soumare will be tough in DC.

I disagree. It's actually a good rule. If a player knows he will be gone for possibly 3 or more matches due to tournaments, he could say to himself: "Screw it, I'm gonna really earn that red card and possible additional 2 oer 3 match suspension" and take out a dangerous striker or other attacker.
Having Sega back is huge. Not having Conde back is also huge. Soumare? Depends which one we're talking about, I guess.

I'd like to see some more of DC's attacking players get so frustrated they throw hissy fits and get red carded. Having Segares back might facilitate this.

Also: Fred belongs to Jesus, we belong to THOR

Looks like Soumare's two yellow's against Dallas won't reset his yc accumulation. He was at two away before the Dallas game. It looks like they counted the first yellow against his accumulation and the second as a red card. So we're most likely going to be missing him again in the near future.

"WARNINGS: SUSPENDED NEXT YELLOW CARD: CHI: Bakary Soumare"

Of course, if MLS followed the international schedule, this wouldn't arise.

Conde is listed as 'probable' on the injury report.
