LARS is a big freaking amoeba that has no rules, but a few guidelines that help it stay together. Here's a few more I'd like to mention:

1. The drums need some space. You are literally dealing with flailing arms and when you complain that a mallet hit you, it's probably because you are stepping on my feet. I'm gonna tape off a bit to remind people that we need the space. This is straight from God, and she agrees.

2. Don't stand on the bleachers. If you do it for a quick effect, like turning around and trying to get people to join a chant, keep it quick. If you do it to just stand there for 30 minutes, be prepared to be hit by a mallet. So in Bob's words, just don't do it.

3. Anyone can start a chant or song, but be aware of a few things: A) we are a big group and people can't hear you 6 rows away... B) we gotta limit "Riot Squad we are Here" and "LA LA LA LET'S GO!" to only twice a half... and the MOST IMPORTANT THING: try to get the drummer's attention first. If you are in 137, PLEASE turn around and yell at us first so WE can help you get the rest of the Squad on board. We sound best when we sound TOGETHER... so please help us achieve this.

4. If you have a flag, please don't wave it randomly all the time. There will be times when ALL FLAGS need to rock, but most of the time, you'll only block someone's view. HOWEVER, when it's time (and you should know the times), you better get that thing in the air!!! Know when NOT to get jiggy, and know when to.

5. "SCARVES UP". They're beautiful... they're awesome... they're LARS... and there's times to get the SCARVES UP. Corners, freekicks, and a few other places. USE THEM.

6. Remember that the bottom half of 138 and 137 ARE GENERAL ADMISSION. Ok, give some OG's the front row, and give the drummers their space, but the rest truly is GENERAL ADMISSION. Let's also make sure that 138 and 137 are CLOSE TO EVEN in volume. It's weird if LARS takes up 7 rows in 137 and 22 rows in 138.

7. Remember LARS RULE #1: Don't be a dick.

My name is Tommy Mack, and I approve this message.
