Leiweke needs to get his ass down the locker room and deliver some kind of shape-up-or-ship-out pep talk/rant. Heads need to roll.

We missed the playoffs before Beckham got here, although the wheels were already in motion.

How were we ever in first place? Seriously. How the fuck did that happen?

We won 4 of 5 games at one point. And now if we win 3 in a row, we *might* make the playoffs. God I fucking hate this shit.

OK, so it's down to the G's and San Jose for dead last. Toronto won today and is out of contention.

We're on 32 points and the Quakes are on 30, and we hold the tiebreaker. So...

We need to lose next week - entirely do-able - and the Quakes need to win. They're home to Toronto on Saturday, so we'll know if we still have a chance.

And we're back!

Actually, we're level with Columbus on three points, but we're only -1 in goal differential, while they are -4.

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which "unskilled people reach erroneous conclusions and make unfortunate choices but their incompetence robs them of the metacognitive ability to realize it." The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their own ability as above average.
