I've just been around the block a few times, and am amused by your naive dead horse beating.    We were complaining about the empty stadium (and al the reasons for it) before we had a stadium.   We were complaining about the empty stadium when we had Henry and would get 20,000 a game, because we were there when they talked about the new stadium being designed so it could be quickly and easily expanded to add another 5- 10K seats, and there was every expectation that we would have to have done that by now.    I have no contentedness about it, I've just heard it all before many, many times for many, many years.    I'm sure you think you are putting some kind of fresh, current spin on it, but you're not.

So you aren't content, you are just broken. Got it.

I wasn't beating a dead horse at all - commenting on the lack of Thelwell/Struber/RBNY communication since the end of the season.

By the way, I had season tickets at GS through the new stadium - don't act like some old man who's seen it all.

If you've been around that long, then you should know that the lack of meaningful  communication has been a constant here.

I can understand the strategy of waiting to announce until a player is here and ready to train, but I dont think its very sound.

The absence of leaks from the player/selling team end, combined with the silence on RBNYs end create more worry that it is an inactivity or inability to close deals.

I'm perfectly OK with radio silence during negotiations.   That means things are progressing.  Leaks happen when things are stalled and someone is trying to shake things up.

I'm not looking for negotiations updates.  I'm looking for done-deals to be announced.

Eh I dunno, I've been around since 2010 and things have felt a little bit different since Thelwell arrived. It used to be rare to have an international signing without at least some rumors leading up to it. Last winter you had announcements dropping out of the blue after the deal was already complete and it seems like we're headed that direction again this year.

Generally after the Haksa saga where Dyer got some leaks, its been super quiet from the US side of information on our signings. Not thats its good or bad but how its been

Is it Thelwell or that whatever coverage we had from media is basically gone? Could be COVID too. I dont think anybody has been allowed at training since the start of 2020.

This is killing me. I long for the days when we got news of 2-3 signings that fell through or got rejected.
