He wasn't bad here but I'm honestly shocked he is moving to a much better club than RBNY. Didn't think he showed enough for a move like that.

thats all MLS rules.  Fabio is a good backup forward to have, he can play physical, doing some dirty work.  but when transfer fees count against salary cap you cant keep him here.  but in Brazil thats not an issue

Totally get that, but the fact that it's Fabio over another depth striker for a club of AM's stature is still surprising.

Prob an acquisition to play in the Mineiro state champo/Copa do Brasil, rather than the Brasileirao/Libertadores. They play a shit ton of games, they need players.

So do we. I hope this isn't the last time we try and get guys from down there. No bargain basement deals down there, however.

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.

RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

I thought Fabio was good but not that good to make the jump to a team of that caliber in Brazil.

I follow him on IG and he has yet to post anything about AM. The Paulistao begins in 17 days (Covid-willing), so they must already be training. He is also still posting photos of him and his family in RBNY gear, so read into that whatever you want.

"They better keep playing that RB Arena update because that unbuilt stadium is the only positive thing about this soft-drink-selling, coached-by-a-dumbass, trading-good-players-for-shit, hopeless, retarded, club." - MetroFanatic

"It was always six weeks away. Every month, [Nick Sakiewicz] would say, we're six weeks away from the stadium. It's been the longest six weeks of my life." - Mike Petke

"I think every country can learn everything about each other. If the whole world can be together, it can be good." - Mathias Jorgensen

"I want to give you lots of titles for your happiness. Lots of hugs.” - Fabio

Any chance Thelwell is trying to play hardball on transfer fee? I like Fabio. I don't love him, but at $350k he makes sense. AND he's a good human.
