Didn't play a lot until he finally got PT at DyJ and in Cordoba. Didn't get 1500'+ of game time until 2017, but has played quite a bit in Ligue1. Has gone the full 90 a bunch of times in Ligue2 this yr.
I would hope his contract doesn't cost much, but 2.5 yrs remaining.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Nice if it's us, and I don't mean the city in France.
News story said us directly, but no offer sent.

Seems like this isn't the club seeing him as a spare part but rather him being tired of Ligue 2 and wanting to go somewhere he can "win titles" (Insert joke about Red Bull here).
Nimes bought him for a bit over $3M in 2020 and seems like there's pretty heavy competiton to acquire him. Seems like he'd be a great get but I'm skeptical we can win a bidding war.
If nothing else, a bigger picture is coming together and it's that Thelwell doesn't intend to replace Davis cheaply.

well seems he's more established than most of our other signings which is nice... I don't know anything about the guy so not much else I can say. Seems like we're looking mostly for midfielders and not at any forwards though.

We were supposedly still contemplating Fabio and we made an offer for the Greek guy. Pretty obvious we're targeting another attacker. Not everything gets leaked.

I thought Fabio was signing with Atletico Mineiro?

Seems like we for once, have a Plan A and and Plan B, which is progress

That's the most recent news it appears, but a week or two ago it came out that we were still contemplating him.
