I'm not seeing a Sacha in this transfer window. A proven, surefire MLS superstar.

When I reported about the trade that preceded that signing, I distinctly remember being told that they were getting fleeced and it was one of the worst deals they'd ever made. I explained to the fan that Kljestan would be on the way next, which was the reason for the move. He told me Kljestan was the worst player to have ever put on a USMNT uniform. I replied "so you'd rather let Oyongo walk for nothing? Kljestan is a net negative?" He said 100% yes.

Sacha was coming back after kind of being a starter as a 2-way possession CM on a good Belgian team. Not a sure fire all-star 10.

Nothing is truly surefire (see Chicharito), but a starting midfielder in his late 20s with 157 matches for a Champions League team in Belgium, nearly 50 USMNT caps, and prior experience as a top MLS player. That's about as credible of an acquisition as there is in MLS.

Galaxy just spent $5.9 million on 21 y/o Kevin Cabral from the French second division.  Ironically its the type of signing that would fit in the Red Bull ecosystem (though im not sure id be happy if we made the signing).

Seems like the transfer market is recovering some based on this and a couple other fees I've seen.  Klimala fee if it happens could be closer to what Celtic paid than what i originally thought.

Was getting concerned with no real updates in a week, but Klimala's out of the match day squad again. Going to take that as a good sign.

I think he wore 98 at some point.  Maybe a reference to that.
