is what it is. They had to sign him because he had a Euro passport right to protect his value? if he was blocking someone who needed a contract i would be up in arms more, but i dont think he is.

So the issue is that a professional player isn't eligible to play at the academy level in the United States. However, according to someone with Red Bull since he has not played a professional match, he maintains eligibility.
