I know LARS has some motor heads So I was wondering if anyone is going? Does LBC chapter of LARS have any advice on where to go?

Make sure you are a safe distance away...those things can't stop anymore!!
Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which "unskilled people reach erroneous conclusions and make unfortunate choices but their incompetence robs them of the metacognitive ability to realize it." The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their own ability as above average.

Well if your going to the race it is pretty much a self contained event. They have tents with overpriced beer and merchandise which you have to pay to get to and then theres the admission price to the actual race. To avoid paying for parking and overpriced beer I suggest you park on 4th street and walk your way down there. You can either head toward Pine ave and Broadway where you will find various bars and clubs that will be going off and jammed pack with race fans or if you want to roll with the local punk/rockabilly/skin crowd you can go to 4th and Alamitos where you will find the V room which is a total dive with strong cheap drinks and across the street you can go to one of our very own LARS members bar Cheapshots for cheap beer.

Ramses, haven't I given you LBGP advice every year on this site?
Sit at turn one. Its were all the passing and action is. You can sneak in beers in your coat. There are no metal detectors or anything like that when you arrive.
With these IRL cars I probably wouldn't go to the race if it was across the street from me. Sadly open wheel racing is dead in the United States. it would be better to save your money and go to a Formula One race. F1 races changed my life when I was younger.
