Shot this from my seat (front of 139) as Landon lifted the cup.

My voice, my liver, and my head have yet to fully recover from Saturday.

Wow, what a game. That's all. Too much too many thoughts, feelings, emotions, drunkeness, etc, etc. My playoff run stache and beard finally came off yesterday.

Sidio has not changed one bit. On the way out, I saw Random and wished him well. Random nevers looks shitfaced to me when he is shitfaced--until he tries to talk. He started mumbling incoherently about "next time". Not sure what he was saying. Then he told me that someone had given him a loaf of bread but he didn't know why. He looked around to show me but he couldn't find it. Then he tells me he hurt his leg and bent over to lift his pant leg. Sure enough, he's got a huge, fresh ding the size of a tangerine on his shin, probably from crashing against a bleacher. As we both straighten up from looking at it, a loaf of Bimbo explodes on his head. It was such a violent crash. There are bread slices everywhere and Sidio is grinning like a kid with a broken and empty bag of Bimbo in his hand. CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, God, for soccer.

Haha. So dumb. And I still have a giant swollen shin, still don't know why.

Does anyone have a good pic of the banners from the game?

Does anyone have a good pic of me celebrating Omar's goal shirtless?

That image is forever burned into my retinas. Is there any way to turn that into a photo?

Oh, one other factoid from this magnificent event that occurs to me:  The Gs have now taken two of three finals against the original Smurfs.

Put your foot down, man!

Oh I did. Last week, the Mrs. was going through the list of recorded shows...I didn't have to say a word. She knew not to touch that one.

Go G's!
