Looks pretty good, except for the two bulls thing above the NY.

I like it. Anything that gives us a more unique identity from the other RB clubs is always a good thing. Will be interesting to see what happens in the future regarding branding. Our new kit is supposed to be black. Will this be a new main crest, or just an alternate?

Wheres the crazy explanation?
The elongated NY evokes the NY skyline, the bulls and sun over the NY represent energy in the city that never sleeps and the curve at the bottom represents the gentle bend of the Passaic River around Red Bull Arena
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Could be a sign they will be selling the club.

Better than the current, and yet still ugly as hell with that soda branding in it.

By minimizing the soda part top, all a new owner needs to do is replace the small top part of the logo and fans will hardly notice. Part of the shock when RB took over was that everything personal (uniforms, logo) connected to the team was completely changed in a flash. It seemed like a new and completely different team.

I'm sure that Red Bull, if contemplating selling the franchise and their New York / New Jersey assets, is consciously preparing to minimize the shock to fans by securing trademarks for new logos and the like. Come on.

Let me clarify. Suppose there is going to be a sale. Just speculating. The new owners would be telling RB to start changing uniforms, logos, team colors now so that it won't be a shock when (hopefully) the sale takes place.

I thought you were joking when you brought up a potential sale. The fact that they are investing in new designs and trademarks indicates to me exactly the opposite. You do not invest in superfluous things like this for an asset you are about to sell. You don't buy new tires in preparation for selling your car.
