Joe Goldstein on Seeing Red podcast had an idea to Start Royer at striker, and Sims and Muyl on the wings. I don't hate that idea...

I disagree that Kaku can't press. In fact I think he is pretty good at it. pretty sure he scored a few goals directly as a result of him causing a turnover. Obviously he is not the bast tackler but he knows the correct angles to take.

it'll suck if they bring 1000+ and park them under the roof in the northside upper deck on Sunday. Won't bode well.

I think they'll bring a lot of support. It's their easiest away trip and best team they've ever had. And where else would they sit?

Lets go! Maybe, just maybe, that Portland game can be the turning point of the season. A home playoff game is still alive. We know how the playoffs work in this league. All you have to do is get hot at the right time.

Big game against a rival (yes I consider Philly a rival because I fucking hate them), lets get all 3 points!

Lets go!!! We had a few nervy moments there, I thought for sure Portland was gonna tie it up.

Our set piece defending was not good. Gave up a lot of headers.

Kemar Lawrence doesn't look 100%. He's still really good, but not " best defender in CONCACAF" good as of late.

BWP...I love the guy, but unless he magically gets into form these last 3 games (which is possible), he's gotta be our 2nd string striker at this point. Hopefully White gets healthy. But even if not...I'd be tempted to start Tom Barlow ahead of him (I can't believe I just wrote that). Barlow looked pretty good and he has the speed to get in behind the defense.

Kyle Duncan...is the starting RB until proven otherwise. He was a little shaky defensively. But so are Murillo, Buckmaster, Lade, and any other option at RB. There was a series of events in the 2nd half where he was diving around in the box, I thought he was going to give away a PK. But a great finish on the goal. On the 2nd goal, IDK how he had enough energy in the 95h min to make that run as a fullback.

I thought RZA had a good game pressing alongside CCJ.

It is SO nice to finally have a good PK taker in Royer. He has hit that upper 90 shot a few times now. Its almost unstoppable.

How long is Tarek out for? Sean Nealis makes me nervy as hell. (as a Hofstra alum I want to see him do well but he is not ready...)

It was big to get Kaku some rest - I think he will come out flying on Sunday
