They should be giving every single person who goes to this a free Red Bulls ticket. If they don't go, then fine. But at least try.

Missed the bat in flipping these for $. O well. I would think it should be a good crowd. Can't remember the last time Boca Juniors played around here. Also keep in mind that this is July 3 and many people are off from work July 4th.

Always nice to get people in the arena. Hope some of them come back again...

So, random thought, why was Montclair chosen as the RB2 facility? If RedBull were going to make investments to upgrade collegiate facilities for their USL squad, why didnt they partner with a more conveniently located school? If they wanted to keep it close to RBA, why not partner with Rutgers Newark or NJIT? If you wanted to make it convenient to the fans that commute from NYC, why not Stevens in Hoboken? You could literally walk to the Stevens campus from the Hoboken PATH, which has access to both 33rd St and WTC PATH lines.

I am sure there are other conveniently located colleges in NYC, I can only speak for the schools Im familiar with in NJ.

It was probably the cheapest option. Would be nice if they actually did something in NY once in a while...

The fact that this team would move a Home game to a completely inferior field to save a few thousand bucks is maddening. So, what - were gonna do this every year? Lets just play CCL games there too. Ya know what, that midweek game against Montreal - nobody's going to that either, lets just play at MSU also.

Outrageous that this game wasn't played at RBA.

First of all, we play on grass. MSU field is turf. PERIOD. THAT'S IT. That's the ONLY reason you need. The surface makes a huge difference. Why the hell would we choose to play a home game on a surface we aren't used to? Add to that, the fact that NE does play on turf. In addition to that, the different environment, crowd, backdrop, ect. These little things matter. The players love playing at RBA, we have an amazing record there. There is no reason not to play there.

And then they decide to field out this lineup? We don't have a game in like 18 days. There is no reason for Kaku, Royer, ect to be on the bench.

Results is one thing, but this debacle is something that was completely within management's control. They chose to do this. Will be calling up my rep and complaining for the first time ever.
