I thought instead of a new thread each time someone dies we could just keep a running tally in the 'Dead Thread'.

Celebrity deaths typically come in three's, and recently we've said farewell to winemaker Robert Mondavi, film director Sydney Pollack, and today, beloved funny man Harvey Korman.

The ongoing debate if Mondavi counts as a celebrity will only be answered if someone else famous buys the farm in the next few weeks.

Check Ladbrokes for odds.

Rest In Peace.

Mr. Korman was a funny, funny man.

But shouldn't this thread be titled something like, "Who's getting buttfucked in heaven now?"

Alexander Courage; he wrote the theme music to the original Star Trek series. Y'know, the one everyone knows by heart. RIP

Yves Saint Laurent is dead today. He's a ol' designer. I don't really know who he is, but I felt left out

off of our typical joking theme. i just read this story of Lance Cpl. Robert Crutchfield who was on leave from duty in Iraq and was gunned down on a bus stop for 8 dollars. It's a sad day in this god damn country when a Marine is shot by some scum bag "citizen" while he's on leave fighting in the name of our country.

There's a sad irony in that statement...

Name your cliche...

Bo Diddley, the musical pioneer whose songs, such as "Who Do You Love?" and "Bo Diddley," melded rhythm and blues and rock 'n' roll through a distinctive thumping beat, has died. He was 79.
