That's pretty bold considering you drive your wife's car to feel manly.

BEEP BEEP!

At least, it is not a mini van.

I don't have any Manly problems driving the Silver Bullet with 275,000 miles on it. Plus, her X5 hauls arse!!!

The Los Angeles Dodgers so far have seen an incredible success with their All-You-Can-Eat Right Field Pavilion. They've sold out all 3,200 seats in the pavilion for seven out of the team's first nine games and they recently sold a sponsorship to convenience store ampm to put its name on the area.

Here's how it works for $35 ($40, if purchased on game day), fans get unlimited Dodger Dogs, nachos, peanuts, Coca-cola products and water. Since the equivalent ticket (in the left field pavilion) costs $8 in advance and $10 on game day, you basically have to rationalize that you can rack up $27 to $30 worth of food and beverages. That's really not that hard at a ballpark. It is hard, however, for the Dodgers not to make money on this because that food and drink costs almost nothing.

The St. Louis Cardinals have had tremendous success as well with the proposition. They have four all-inclusive areas, which include everything the Dodgers have plus beer, for prices ranging from $60 to $110 per game

On the commuter express bus this morning, I happened to look over to my right when we were exciting the 134 off of Fair Oaks and noticed this restaurant called "Beckham Place" and nearly fell off of my seat. As we turned on to Fair Oaks and I saw a tennis court with Pasadena Athletics Club. I had never seen this the BP place before. I wonder if he's try to be Best in the town now...

If it would lessen the time I spend in line for beer, I would be all for it.

Two goals were scored while I was in line at the last home game.

That's pretty much all that happened in that game.

Yup, I'm done buying beer during games.

PS: Speaking of probably not really being done drinking, I dreamt last night that I was on the 210 East bound next to a white Land Cruiser with NY plates saying 'CLETUS'. Clint Mathis was indeed driving it and looked sober, and relatively normal, except he was going slow in the fast lane. Another player was in a Honda in front of me, but as I sped up to pass to try to see who it was, I woke up. It was a blue Honda Accord.

Beckham Grill has been there since the 80's, I think. It's an average place for food. The beer selection isn't great, but if you like Scotch, I don't know of a better place. Pasadena definitely has better choices.
