Three third-round scheduling changes were made following Tuesday’s second-round play. MLS’s Real Salt Lake, which would have gone on the road to face the NASL’s Minnesota Stars in Blaine, Minn., is now hosting the third-round matchup. RSL and Minnesota will play each other at 7 p.m. MT on Tuesday, May 29, at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah.
The Seattle Sounders also will host their third-round match, which originally would have been played in Atlanta, Ga., against the NASL’s Atlanta Silverbacks. Seattle will host Atlanta at 7 p.m. PT on Wednesday, May 30, at the Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila, Wash.
LA Galaxy (MLS) at Carolina RailHawks (NASL): WakeMed Soccer Park; Cary, N.C.; 7:07 p.m. ET, May 29

In other words, you BUY your home games in the US Open Cup.

Bruce has never had much use for the USOC, and and the fact that we're willing to travel midweek to save a few bucks tells me that that the club is highly committed to making sure we are one and done in the Cup, allowing us to focus on the important upcoming World Football Challenge.…going the way of the buffalo…
This will be the match we'll finally see the dream strike pairing of Jack McBean and Kyle Nakazawa - with Kyle finally freed from the chains of midfield, and we'll have a midfield of Hector Jimenz, Jose Villareal, Rafael Garcia, Kenny Walker, and Dan Keat and a back line of Bryan Jordan, Tommy Myer and Byran Gaul. I'm not sure who will play keeper, we may play without one.

This. For one they play in Houston Saturday, so it's probably a shorter trip to NC. And b) they're going to be playing in front of a crowd who'll probably be excited to see them, rather than a 1/3 full HDC with a crowd who's sick of them.
Maybe Curt Onafalo will be given a chance to head coach this one and Leonardo will make his triumphant return....
Hey didn't Dirty Defender move to one of the Carolina states?

I'll have to razz him a bit about where his loyalties lie these days.

More apt would be a pic of Godzilla about to stomp Bambi, tripping over its own feet, and doing a face-plant into a puddle of its own puke...

- The game will be streamed on the RailHawks' and Galaxy's websites (probably audio only!)
- G's are without the DPs, DeLaGarza, Dunivant, Franklin, aswell as the injuried Gonzalez, Juninho, Boyen and Christman.
- Jimenez isn't suspended for the US Open Cup.
- not sure if Villareal is healthy already or still out, don't think I've seen Garcia appear on a game day roster either and McBean might be in some USYMNT camp.
Perk, Gaudette
Meyer, Lopes, Jordan, Gaul, Leonardo
Sarvas, Magee, Stephens, Keat, Noonan, Jimenez, Walker, Nakazawa, Villareal, Garcia
Barrett, Buddle, McBean
