No matter how "Down" we are kicking us will be fun for everyone.
Isaac: So when I told you guys we were on it, I meant to say we're on the motherfucker, go back in there and relax...

I'm not sure this will ever happen as long as the Galaxy are the big spenders in the league. NY spends big but haven't proven they know how to win. I am starting to be somewhat fascinated by this malaise. I can't remember seeing anything quite like it in professional sports. Certainly it happens at the high school and maybe the college level. Teams will always try extra hard to beat LA. I'm afraid it will take a couple of seasons of suckatude to turn that tide.usually if you fall far enough... teams start overlooking you... are we there yet? we seem to get everyone's best shot all the time. mostly because it's LA...but now added that we're defending champs... hopefully though teams have forgotten that and start overlooking us...

Extinction? We are slowly going the way of the Buffalo...
Bred in captivity?
Reduced numbers in the wild?
This metaphor blows...
If you're not creepin', you're not trying...

I think he means that we are being inter-bred with bison. You'll have to figure out what that is a metaphor for.Extinction?
Bred in captivity?
Reduced numbers in the wild?
This metaphor blows...
A noble spirit embiggens the smallest man.

We are slowly going the way of the Buffalo...
“going the way of the buffalo” referred to something or someone ceasing to exist, refers to a slow demise into non-existence . As in the G's defense, ability to score etc.
S. Bones: I too forgot about him. And I wish now that it was a reference to Pires...
LOBO: metaphor no longer blowing, I hope.

I'd gladly say happy trails to Landon and Keane or Beckham if the team could get Drogba. He is leaving Chelsea and still has plenty of gas in the tank. Drogba's size and speed could do some serious damage. Time for a Laker style demo and rebuild. This season is looking more and more like a bad JP Morgan Chase investment.
really? If Henry couldn't come here and rip up the league, why would a 34 year old Drogba be able to?
...
MLS defenders would just play him like they play Henry. Lay off him and force him to pass so someone else can beat you... I think Drogba would be a bad move... Maybe he'll have a better attitude than Keane...but he'll be scoring about as many goals... you gotta remember that these guys are used to playing at a different skill level...the defenders in MLS would fuck him up something fresh
