Did we get free tickets for this match?

Nope. I'm buying mine at the gate.

How are we getting tickets together in the stadium?

Did anybody else notice Mr. Beckham in London watching the BMX Olympic finals yesterday? Obviously he won't be stumbling around in the midfield against the Goats this weekend. Personally I hope the G's play the best game of the season.

Vancouver beat Fake Salt Lake today. The Aftersmurfs did their winning goal in stoppage time by Douchey McDoucherson thing against Seattle, but we still seriously need a win tomorrow to keep within shouting distance of those guys.

I expect these two G's to be dancing on some goat graves tonight.

I'm not sure we should.  That would mean no attempts to experiment, try new things.  Sometimes discovering what doesn't work is as helpful as discovering what does work.  For instance, LD and Beckham on the flanks doesn't work.  LD up top with Keane does work.  You don't learn those things if you play the best game of the season every time out.

It's the Kids!  Mr. Do-what-ever-matters-to-me is doing just that.  Omar is back.  So I feel an especially strong hope that the G's will fire on all cylinders in this game.

Glad the game is on TV. Sucks having to watch on crap streams.

Will this game ignite the "rivalry"? Hope so. At least on paper it seems like it should be a decent game.

The good guys win 3-1

I just hope for a win: pretty, ugly, or pretty ugly! A win is a win.

Truth. While I'd prefer an 8-0 humiliation, I'm good with a grind it out, boring-ass 1-0 win over those fuckers, too.

Anyway, tonight's Gs: Saunders: Franklin, Gonzalez, DeLaGarza, Dunivant; Jimenez, Sarvas, Juninho, Magee; Donovan, Keane.

// Subs: Perk, Meyer, Gaul, Jordan, Walker, Stephens, Villarreal.

The old back line is back - huzzah! Lopes isn't even suited up, the poor schlub.

How did we not score?!

Edit* only a matter of time. Keane and Landon with multiple chances. They make a good pair, right Bruce?

YeeHaw - KEANE!

Good grief, how does Keane run through the heart of the defense and yet have no marker within five yards of him?

Nice combination work but horrible defending.
