a bunch of tired G's it was, still would have started the same folks, however use all 3 subs.
Hopefully the can recover and produce a much better performance in the 2nd leg up north.

I know that the team we have is the team we have. And, they each have their roles.
Our defense, especially Omar, held Wondo, Cabbage Patch, & Gordo in check. Cool.
Our midfield didn't control everything but did get plenty of balls into the box. Which is our gameplan, correct?
Our forwards had chances but did not convert. Did Landon have a shot on goal?
We subbed Becks for Buddle. Shouldn't they be on the field together?
Who's at fault? Saunders? Becks? Sarvas? Robbie? Buddle? Landon? Bruce?
I'm not feeling hopeful...

I have no frigging idea. The AfterSmurfs have some sort of Douche-Jedi Mind Trick; they get some rip-your-heart-out-and-wipe-their-ass-with-it goal every fucking time they play us (and against a lot of other teams, too).

That just about sums it up. The initial foul call didn't seem legit to begin with. Plus Junhino's terrible free kick right before that at the other end of the field. Ugh.

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which "unskilled people reach erroneous conclusions and make unfortunate choices but their incompetence robs them of the metacognitive ability to realize it." The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their own ability as above average.

This is awesome and actually improved my mood after I watched it.Click Here and post it around. I'm tired
Yup. A need that has never been fully addressed since Dema retired. The way the AfterSmurfs play really makes me wish we had a Kovalenko or a Danny Peña on the pitch.
This.FUCK EVERYTHING!!!
I asked around after the game last night, but I was curious to know when was the last time the G's won at Buck Shaw. I got no solid answers...
Things look bleak kids.
The game plan confused me. Launching crosses into the box for Keane and Landon to attack has low percentage written all over it.
It would have been better to start Buddle with that game plan and bring in Mike Magee as a super sub if it didn't work out.
Obviously, shit didn't work out and now it's backs to the wall on Wednesday...

Its been that way forever with San Jose. This is the true California Derby given it's history of results and the fact that Landon hopped from team to the other. The DeRo golden goal in MLS Cup "01,the heated regualr season matches, the debacle game of '03. If the G's truly want to excercise these demons, I cannot think of a better way than to defeat San Jo on their home turf and eliminate them from the playoffs. A big win would be huge and would heal all of the big wounds that have been inflicted by this franchise over the years. Not sure how the fan base is in San jo, but the fact that this is a Wed night game may result in a low turnout. This would obviously help the G's, but it would also be nice to see them take San Jo down in front of a big crowd. Landon needs to reach down into the deepest, darkest recesses of his soul and play as if this is his last hurrah for his carreer. This could be a game that he could look back on and grin every time he thinks about it. Could be Beckham's last game as well. Lost of stories taking place here. Will probably see a very differetn Galaxy team next year regadless of the result on Wed.

The game last year where Magee morphed from Tits to BAMF definitely felt like a win. But as for the kind of win where you score more goals than the other team, well, there's a first time for everything, and Wednesday would sure be a great occasion for this.I asked around after the game last night, but I was curious to know when was the last time the G's won at Buck Shaw. I didn't see a foul. On our free kicks we tried to bend it in, unsuccessfully. They got tricky on their's and scored. Bernardez crouched low so Saunders couldn't see his run up and then blasted it under the wall. Our "quality" needs to show up on Wednesday. That just about sums it up. The initial foul call didn't seem legit to begin with. Plus Junhino's terrible free kick right before that at the other end of the field. Ugh.

Where the hell are we watching this on Wednesday?
Or are we going to drive up to Buck Shaw and get arrested?
Please advise...
