Bradley did break some ground in europe. But if marsch gets appointed it would be amazing.
I would still prefer him as the usmnt coach but that is me.

Bradley couldn't get Egypt into the World Cup iirc.

To be fair, Bradley dealt with serious challenges (Port Said tragedy, suspension of domestic league, etc.). He had a tougher job than his successor.

yeah, rough times when he was their national team mgr. still think it's the highest profile job for a us coach. at lehavre, he got a fair shot and was given a season.

How long was his stint at Swansea? Couldn't have been more than a couple months.

Bradley got screwed over at Swansea. At a minimum, they should have given him through the transfer window to see if bringing in any new talent would make a difference.
Does anyone count David Wagner as an American manager? He got Huddersfield promoted to the Premier League and kept them there. I think Wagner probably considers himself more German than American, but he did play for the US national team.

Marsch is going to lead Leipzig back into CL and he'll have Tyler Adams with him to do it. Then, inexplicably he will slot him at right back instead of as a Keita replacement and we will all lose our heads.

He's German. As a technicality he could play for the US a few times in the 90's. When he played against Canada, they complained and challenged his eligibility. He probably doubts it because his US caps are why he's always linked with coaching jobs here he has absolutely no interest in.

i remember him suiting up against Austria in the run up to 98, Sampson's beloved "3-6-1". i recall hoping that he and another 3rd div German guy (Mason, iirc) would bring something to that group.
yeaaaaaah, nope.

Ugh!
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

I know. I was there to witness it firsthand!
