----------White
Royer----- Clark-----Kaku
----Yearwood--Cásseres
Tarek - Long - Parker - Duncan
-----------Meara

Overall, press, win the ball and shoot immediately or give it to whoever is closest to goal and shoot and rush the goal...

Run the offense through Kaku with Duncan overlapping and have Tarek stay back no matter what... Ask Clark to press and find space when the ball is won and to shoot from range or turn and find Royer running into the box..

So Barlow, our starting forward for most of the season (until very recently), has played in 20 games and scored in one of them.

:(

We called Barlow trash about 10 games ago. Called for armas being fired a season ago.

The fans are on to something.

Barlow sadly is not MLS quality... White is serviceable but is not going to bang in hat tricks in the playoffs to carry NY to any new heights. If BWP didn't do it he won't... The goals have to start coming in from Kaku, Royer, Clark, Stroud has to finally prove something although honestly again same as Barlow and that's been what's been happening.. A lot of turnover in personnel that are less than what was there before them.. Never had a replacement for (even going back to Sascha) , or Tyler Adams. Or Taxi or BWP or Robles or even Murillo.. And it shows

Only answer is to game plan to get guys that have at least showed they can score and get them to realize to just put it on target and make the opponent have to save every shot. Get Royer to shoot from range as Clark to keep taking on a guy then rattle a shot off as Kaku to play balls in but also shoot... That's the only way and hopefully White can poach a goal from those shots

Nashville home vs Dallas tonight at 830, we need Nashville not to win so we stay 7th.

Does 7th or 8th really matter? It's incredibly unlikely we're getting 6th.

I guess in reality we hope Fire pass ATL so its either fire or Montreal at home?

I really hate this playoff format, rewards way to much garbage. We have no business making the playoffs.

I'm hoping 6th place... Metro need to be in the playoffs as long as possible and hopefully have time to change things around...

I'm hoping that Metro start game planning every game as if it's a must win final and go out and beat TFC...

I hope they start gearing game plans towards their strengths and the opponents weakness and there be a urgency to win... I feel like all season the MO was to change philosophy from the Marsch high press to sitting in the middle block of the pitch and plug passing lanes instead of trying to win each game almost as if it was more important to change the style as opposed to winning..

As much as we don't deserve it, look at Montreal (7 wins, 13 losses), Atlanta (6, 12), Chicago (5, 9), Scum (5, 11)... TWO of those teams will get in.

Nashville loses to Dallas, so we are tied with them, we own tiebreaker.

Time to go all in vs TFC and win and maybe Philly wins which isn't impossible and Metro can sneak into 6th..

Play a lineup that has the most goal scorers on it and ask them to take cracks at goal as much as possible...

Only caveat is.. Will TFC come out to win or rest players... And if Metro win and Philly wins and maybe even Orlando City win that means Metro will play TFC again in the playoffs....

If they beat TFC in the upcoming game I would rather they play them in the playoffs... Orlando is on a hot streak and looked much better than Metro last time...

Again the most important thing now is to win the next game and that's really the only thing that Metro should be thinking I'd even go as far as training on the actual RBA pitch.. Every little bit helps and even getting that visualization and habit of where to be and shoot from so it's muscle memory game day...

Metro have got to go out to beat TFC

Metro need to win... Royer, White, Kaku have to have the games of their life and Clark which has given hope has got to start and his penchant for ripping a surprising shot has got to be encouraged and those flames need to be stoked and he's has to be asked to just let it rip...

Omir, Stroud, Barlow, Jorg, Tetteh have not shown anything and they should not start... It's a one off must win

For sure, I think that MLS playoffs should be 6 teams each conference  I know the almighty TV dollar will never let that happen...
