Even having grown up in that area and still cheering for a lot of the teams that play there, I've come to hate passionately and desperately these smug, self-congratulating dickwipes. And I don't care for the team they cheer for either. Let's give them great and enduring sadness.

Vancouver won today to close within 3 points of the Gs. Potland won last night to drop us into 5th place. So there are bigger considerations than getting Refunder fans to shut their big giant mouths for 5 fucking minutes, as salutary as that would be.
Anyway, no Donovan tonight, so that sucks a whole lot. Tonight's Gs:
Penedo. Franklin, Gonzalez, Franklin, Dunivan; Jimenez, Sarvas, Juninho, Zardes; Villarreal, Keane
Subs: Rowe, Opare, Stephens, Garcia, Mastroeni, Courtois, McBean
Crap: Grown-Ass Man heads in a corner kick. I hate to say it, but has Pinedo been talking to Cudicini about how to deal with a corner?
Just before halftime - JUNINHO with the set-piece lack of regard for humanity!!!
The consensus on other sites where people still comment during games is that the ref ignored a foul on the Refunders' goal but a called a similar one in waving off a G goal at the 60th minute. Death, taxes, and MLS officiating...
Courtois in for Jimenez at 76 minutes.
McBean in for Villarreal at 80 minutes.
Stephens in for I think Franklin in stoppage time.
The game ends 1-1. F the ref.

The loss of Landon hurt us more than Dempsey hurt Seattle.
Without Landon, Keane gets too busy and tries to do too much.
I was amazed how much both teams pushed up into the midfield. There were a number of times, especially in the first half, where all 20 field players were in the same 25 yard deep area of the field.
This was another instance of Bruce being outcoached.
