Granted, Luq and Morgan have helped give the offense another gear, specifically Luq, but I cant say Im thrilled at the idea of running back the strikers from last year. By the time the we got to the playoffs, the strategy was play for a scoreless draw and hope to win a shootout.

Can we send Klimala to Brazil in a swap for Fabio and also bring in a DP striker?

Better than Fletcher, better than nothing, but I'd hope this is only a distant back up plan if they aren't able to lock down a new DP.

The only way this makes sense.

Its funny that you think theyll sign another DP.

Luq equivalent as striker would be great

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

They've signed two in two years, they were ready to sign a third if Fletcher had panned out. Not gonna guarantee it'll happen but it's 100% a possibility.

Not really in favor of him returning for he wasn't very effective as striker. On the other hand he is better than Kimala, Barlow and Fletcher who are worthless. Time to get rid of these players & use other options on team or RB2 or acquire some one during next window for a new signing.

I'd love Fabio as a Barlow replacement.    Not  good enough for a Fletch replacement.

We all want a big Henry type signing at ST but if it doesnt happen, Fabio replacing fletcher is an upgrade. Fletcher hasnt shown anything. Atleast Fabio had 7 goals and 7 assists and was physically better than fletcher.

Again if it means Fabio as a fall back option Im good with it. Fletcher should be a goner. Maybe they get Fabio just on loan for end of season.

If its not an upgrade to Klimala, the season is over anyway.   Going from 4 or 5 goals out of Fletcher (I know he has none yet, but he'd get a few by default) to whatever Fabio gives us doesn't change a thing.

Not better enough for this to be the only striker signing this summer.

I don't know how you can say he is better than Klimala.   Statistically they are a wash, and Klimala is better athletically and gets himself in position for more xG.  Fabio is certainly more likeable.

Neither are good enough to be our top guy.
