Big news for us.  Based on what Sean McCaffery has done so far, optimistic we will continue to supplement the talent pool well.   We need to fill the gap and get a couple other 17/18 year old guys to compliment the class below with Hot and Toure

Good academy write up. Part 1 talks about Theiwell experience as someone who managed academies in England, has a ton of contacts like getting academy to connect with Liverpool academy and can steer coaches to specific training.

 

Also, roster reduction allows for more playing time.  More players are expected to play up as well to help with their development.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Homegrown is not technically gone.

We can recruit for our MLS Next teams from anywhere, but homegrowns still come from the teams we build.

For example if Dallas grabs a kid from NJ and he plays with their team, they can still have HGP rights.
