Wow, lots of stuff in here:

Nice article about the original mls supporters club. Thanks for sharing.

Sometimes I think the entire Red Bull existence has been some 19 year old kids football manager save file he only plays when he comes home drunk. - 'Mibabalou'

I love that the ESC was very inclusive from the very beginning. Everyone is welcome in the ESC and the South Ward as long as they are passionate about the team and don't exclude anyone based on race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, etc. Good stuff.

Amen

The idea that Giants Stadium or the MetroStars or the MLS would presume to have the authority to tell us how to support the team seemed ludicrous. That anarchistic sensibility pervaded the club early on.

Nice to see Roger Photo's efforts to document ESC credited.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

No mention of SMF. Clearly lacking research.

Everyone have agreed to keep the sordid story of SMF on the DL.

That NYC fan in the lead photo, over to the left, is that the one that still makes it way to games?

One of my most endearing memories was 2002 or so, Greg asking if we could have match viewings at a place other than a bar, because some people were in AA & didn't want to be surrounded by temptation.

Even for a guy rocking diet cokes all game, I didn't fancy the odds of making that club policy.

Kristian Dyer sighting....

Or at least someone who ate him.

I used to have a couple of funny things here but I can no longer find them.
